What You'll Be Doing:

As a Logistics Operative, your responsibilities will be varied and essential, including:

  • Controlling incoming and outgoing goods and stock on both practical and administrative levels.
  • Ensuring a high standard of Health & Safety within the warehouse environment.
  • Accurately picking, packing, and despatching shipments, including labeling and liaising with freight providers.
  • Receiving, checking, and putting away goods, accurately recording receipts in SAP.
  • Handling customer returns, including new, service exchange, and warranty items.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and receiving other goods.
  • Conducting stock checks and ensuring the accuracy of parts picking and put-away.
  • Processing despatch and delivery notes promptly.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal divisions, particularly workshops and visiting engineers.
  • Liaising effectively with customers on delivery matters.
  • Assisting with store operations and any other required departmental duties.
  • Managing and controlling the tool store, warranty, and service parts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of marine engines and kit boxes for customer delivery.
  • Raising purchase orders using SAP for workshop and warehouse needs.
  • Sending returns back to the factory, ensuring proper packing and paperwork.
