Location: Corby, Northants (Hybrid working)

Our Payroll Specialists support all things BAU in our busy payroll function and drive the end to end process. You'll have a fantastic team around you, and a manager keen to see you learn and develop your career. We work a lot with ADP payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel, so any experience you bring using these would be an advantage, but we'll happily fill in any gaps in your knowledge and support you in your learning.

This is a hybrid role, so you can split the week between the comfort of your own home, and our friendly, vibrant offices in Corby.

What you will be doing:

The primary purpose of the Payroll Specialist is to provide an end to end excellent payroll service to the business.

You'll support the payroll provision for RS Group PLC in the UK in line with legal and statutory requirements and to pay employees accurately and on time.

You’ll work effectively with Finance, HR Service Centre, HR Reward and Pensions Teams to support the delivery of an engaging and effective employee benefits package.

To ensure that transactional payroll activities are carried out within the agreed KPI’s and that a consistent approach is delivered whilst maintaining operational excellence in the most efficient way.

Key skills and experience we are looking for:

Previous payroll experience (essential) Microsoft Excel skills - Intermediate/Advanced, with an ability to manipulate and display data in a meaningful and insightful manner. Ability to understand, respect, interpret and communicate appropriate message/information confidently and effectively with good interpersonal skills – at all levels, with the utmost tact and diplomacy. Team Ethic, working in a team environment. Great attention to detail and being able to work to tight deadlines. Demonstrates highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
