What This Role Offers

As a People Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, primarily at Levels 3 and/or 4. You'll be the go-to expert for all people-related matters, providing strategic coaching and support to optimize individual and team performance and cultivate the desired culture. A key aspect of this role is ensuring all people initiatives align with the overarching people strategy, directly supporting the business plan and objectives. You will also be instrumental in the development and execution of the Partnership People Plan, fostering an inclusive, empowering, and collaborative environment where partners are aligned with the Partnership's broader goals.

Key Advantages for Candidates:

  • Career Development: Opportunity to deepen expertise in talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and change management within a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Unique Ownership Model: Be part of the UK's largest employee-owned business, sharing in both the responsibilities and rewards of ownership.
  • Hybrid Working: Benefit from a flexible hybrid working model, balancing office-based collaboration in London or Bracknell with the flexibility of working from home.
  • Visible Impact: The expectation of being physically present in offices, shops, and distribution centres allows for building strong relationships and a deep understanding of the business, making your contributions more impactful.

Key Considerations for Your Career Path

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in HR Business Partnering, with a proven track record of supporting senior leadership and driving strategic people initiatives in dynamic and complex environments. The ability to collaborate effectively with Centres of Expertise (CoEs), particularly in recruitment, Employee Relations, and Learning & Development within a matrix structure, is crucial.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Track record of supporting senior leadership teams.
  • Experience driving strategic and commercial people initiatives in a complex, multi-site, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of talent and performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.

  • Strong understanding and experience implementing Diversity & Inclusion strategies.
  • Expertise in change management and driving people-related change.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

The salary range for this permanent position is £55,500 - £86,700 per annum. Given the nature of partnering roles, a commitment to spending sufficient physical time with various parts of the business is expected to build effective relationships. This role offers a fantastic platform for experienced HR professionals looking to make a significant impact within a purpose-driven, employee-owned organisation.
