Has expertise in flood and coastal risk management.Thrives in a leadership role and enjoys mentoring and motivating a team to achieve their best.Has a strong background in managing large-scale, complex engineering programmes.Possesses financial management skills and problem-solving abilities.Has in-depth knowledge of legislation such as the Flood and Water Management Act, the Land Drainage Act, the Coastal Protection Act and the CDM Regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Flood and Coastal Risk Management Team, overseeing team performance and development.Deliver complex engineering and flood and coastal risk management projects, ensuring they meet cost, quality, and time requirements.Act as the primary contact for flood and coastal risk management and providing authoritative advice on design and project delivery.Coordinate resources and collaborate with emergency services and other flood risk management authorities during and after flood events to ensure an effective response.Manage and control project budgets to ensure value for money while adhering to financial limits.This is your chance to be part of a team that values shaping the future of our community.
