What the Role Entails:

As a Supportability Engineer at Babcock, you will be integral to the Submarine Support Engineering function. Your primary responsibility will involve the meticulous analysis of design and in-service technical information. This analysis will be crucial in producing comprehensive reports and deliverables that meet stringent contractual obligations. You will be instrumental in:

  • Assisting in the development of essential maintenance task information, utilizing technical design data to populate workbooks.
  • Maintaining accurate reports and contributing to the creation of Maintenance Task Instructions (MTI).
  • Generating and sustaining technical reports to support process escalation and risk management.
  • Ensuring that risks are systematically recorded and that mitigating actions are integrated into the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Risk Register.
  • Providing critical input data for the production of MTI outputs.
  • Supporting initiatives focused on the development of both preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for submarine equipment.
