About the role:
We have a fantastic development opportunity for someone who is passionate about Safety and wishes to join our small team based at Locomotive House as a Safety Data Analyst.
As Safety Data Analyst your role will be to provide administrative support within the HSSE Team in regard to entry, analysis, reporting and recording of all HSSE incidents and train incidents.
Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include:-
Working In line with Railway Group Standards, ensure that data in relation to Health, Safety, and Environmental events are input to our systems.Ensure a process is in place for timely reporting of, accidents and incidents to the Office and Rail Regulator and Rail Accident Investigation Branch as required by legislation.Manage the cleansing and updating of the Safe Insight & internal System Data and ensuring completeness and accuracy, questioning the originator to provide a full description of accidents and incidents and any responses with regards to local investigations and control measures put in place.Maintain data relating to Claims Management process to ensure prompt response to external claims management stakeholders, liaising with internal stakeholders.Be point of contact for all Compass administration duties including, managing H&S related events managing initial actions (assigning to correct owners & holders) through to closing events (after investigation)Analyse and identify trends in Safety performance using statistical analysis techniquesRepresent EMR at relevant RSSB Safe Insight meetings and is proactively involved in any changes.The ideal candidate will need to have:-
