An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Sunderland School of Medicine administration team. Sunderland Medical School was one of only five new Medical Schools established to address the regional imbalance of medical education places across England and to widen access to ensure that the profession reflects the communities it serves. At full capacity we have a cohort of 585 Medical Students. The School of Medicine sits within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing at Sunderland University which has a track-record of excellence in science and healthcare education spanning almost 100 years.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and efficient individual to provide an effective and comprehensive administrative support service to the School of Medicine. You will work closely with the Associate Head of School, Undergraduate Programme Lead and School Operations Manager to develop, implement and maintain the administrative systems to support the effective running of the School of Medicine administrative function. What you can bring
The successful candidate will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and have significant experience of working in a similar administrative support role where you can demonstrate your ability to develop, implement and enhance effective administrative processes. You will have proven experience of managing your workload, meeting key deadlines and taking ownership and responsibility for the quality of your work.
