The Role

As a Technical Training Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll develop, deliver and maintain high quality training courses for both internal and external customers. You’ll also assist with the development, amendment and confirm accuracy of Technical Publications.

This role involves liaising with Engineering organisations to ensure fault analysis is reported and expedited whilst ensuring tracked and recorded

Collaborating with Product Development, Operations, and Service Management to obtain information required to develop training materials on all aspects of the service

Attending meetings on behalf of the Training Manager and identifying potential training implications and risks.

Complying with applicable QHSE, Fire, Human Resources and Security policies. Key / Crypto material holding & running accounts. Developing training courses for new equipment/services delivered by Team Aurora whilst ensuring adherence to the DSAT process. Develop, deliver, and maintain high quality training courses for both internal and external customers. Identify the most practical and cost-effective training solution for the customer.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at HMS Collingwood.

Experience of the Technical Training Instructor

Good communication skills. Be able to work proactively and flexibly within a small team. A good understanding of Data Communications and RF Communication Techniques. Experience of working alongside UK Military Customers. Good working knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Word, Excel and Visio. Experience with running cryptographic accounts.

Qualifications for the Technical Training Instructor

Must hold relevant teaching qualification. To achieve and maintain UK MOD security clearance to a minimum of SC. BTEC/OND/HNC in an Engineering Discipline.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
