Key Responsibilities You'll Embrace:

  • Managing customer queries, including communications with shipping lines and handling customer claims.
  • Overseeing container releases and acceptance information flows.
  • Accurately inputting data into essential operations systems such as TOPS, iPro, VBS, and Gate Management Systems (GMS).
  • Coordinating with Terminal MSOs for reefer settings and Genset releases.
  • Inputting shunt details into TOPS and planning stack allocations for deliveries and collections.
  • Planning and issuing shunts to ensure timely movement of containers.
  • Controlling internal tug access via the Gate Management System/VBS for all involved parties, ensuring shunts are executed as planned.
  • Liaising with senior managers to plan VBS slots and execute instructions.
  • Planning and booking VBS slots for both Pentalver and Port movements to prevent missed bookings.

What We're Looking For in a Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within shipping lines, port operations, haulage, or container handling is highly desirable.
  • A keen eye for detail is crucial for accuracy in operational tasks.
  • A strong team player mentality, essential for collaborative success.
  • A demonstrable focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Ideally, a foundational understanding of container ISO standards would be advantageous.
