We’re here to create and harness knowledge, to deliver opportunity for everyone.
This role is ideal for someone who loves all things digital and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. You’ll bring a strong eye for detail and a curiosity for how users interact with online content, taking pride in helping to shape a website that is clear, accessible and genuinely useful. You don’t need to be an expert yet, but you should be enthusiastic about developing your skills in areas like content design, user journeys, accessibility, SEO, analytics and applying our new brand consistently across a wide range of digital touchpoints.
You’ll be someone who enjoys problem-solving and is comfortable digging into the detail, whether that’s checking a page for outdated branding, working through a set of tone and style improvements, testing how new components behave on different devices, or supporting colleagues as they adopt new templates and design elements. You’ll be confident communicating with people across the University, helping them understand how to apply our updated identity in a digital context and supporting them to create content that meets our standards.
You’ll also enjoy working collaboratively, contributing ideas, learning from others and sharing best practice with our devolved community of content authors. As part of a central team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our website reflects our refreshed brand, maintains a high standard of quality and continues to evolve in a way that meets user needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital, enjoys refining and improving content, and wants to build a strong foundation in digital marketing, user experience and brand delivery within a friendly and supportive team.
