Join Us in Shaping the Future of Shared Services at Lincoln
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and help transform the way staff and students experience the University of Lincoln?
We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Shared Services Manager to join our newly formed Shared Services team within Digital Services. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new function that will directly address the challenges our community faces in navigating the University’s complex processes—making a real difference to how services are delivered and experienced.
As a key member of the team, you’ll take ownership of one or more service journeys or service management disciplines, ensuring they are efficient, user-focused, and aligned with the University’s strategic goals. You’ll work across departments, drawing on your existing knowledge of the University’s systems, culture, and networks to drive meaningful change. Whether it’s improving service design, managing transitions, or leading operational excellence, your work will have a tangible impact on students, staff, and the wider community.
You’ll bring a strong background in service delivery, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to lead and influence across a wide range of stakeholders. In return, you’ll join a supportive, innovative team that values collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
This is more than a job—it’s a chance to shape a new service culture at Lincoln. If you’re excited by the idea of building something new, solving real problems, and helping others succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln, our current students, and any currently engaged agency workers who have been with us for more than 12 weeks. We actively encourage applications from all colleagues across the University with the relevant skills and experience.
