Key Responsibilities and Growth Areas:

Your contributions will be vital to the success of the M&S Foods department. Key accountabilities include:

  • Providing efficient service on the shop floor and at service points.
  • Maintaining store presentation through tidiness and effective stocking.
  • Contributing to sales targets by actively promoting products and offers.
  • Proactively engaging with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored recommendations.
  • Developing in-depth product knowledge to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Utilizing provided training to master digital tools and communication channels for seamless customer delivery.

Important Considerations for Applicants:

When considering this opportunity, please note the following:

  • Work Schedule: The standard work pattern includes shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings from 18:00 to 00:00.
  • Peak Season Flexibility: During the weeks commencing December 14th and December 21st, successful candidates may be asked to work up to full-time hours to meet operational demands.
  • Age Restriction: Due to late-night working requirements, this role is only open to applicants aged 18 and over, in compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Unsocial Hours Premium: An additional £3.00 per hour premium is applied to hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00.
