What the Role Entails:

As a Lead HR & Payroll Services Functional Analyst, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing critical HR and Payroll services for a major strategic client program. This is a multi-phase transformation initiative, offering a chance to truly influence the quality and user-centricity of the services delivered.

  • Service Blueprint & Operating Model Leadership: You will lead the creation of the Capita Service Blueprint and High-Level Operating Model for HR & Payroll. This involves deep engagement in defining how services will operate end-to-end.
  • Client & SME Collaboration: A key aspect of this role is facilitating workshops with clients and subject matter experts (SMEs). Your ability to integrate diverse service elements and resolve design conflicts will be crucial for success.
  • Detailed Service Design: You'll be responsible for developing detailed service designs, with a strong emphasis on user experience and operational excellence. This includes providing essential input to training and testing teams to ensure seamless alignment with established procedures.
  • Stakeholder Management: Presenting service design updates in End-User Forums and fostering stakeholder consensus will be integral to gaining buy-in and driving progress.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Participating in daily stand-ups and cross-functional meetings will ensure service design issues are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Validation & Transition: Leading Payroll Parallel Run exercises to validate service readiness and overseeing service transition planning and execution, including critical dress rehearsals and live cutover, are key responsibilities.
  • Post-Launch Support: You will also play a vital role in supporting the operational rollout and resolving any service-related issues during the early stages of service life.
